My name is Holly Kerchner, and I became a photographer out of a deep love for life.

Originally from Northwest Montana, I am now based in Seattle, WA. My passion is creating boudoir and lifestyle portraits of femme and nonbinary folks. I established Wild Ideal as a medium for pursuing that dream.

I create my work in relaxed and intimate settings, using medium format film and natural light.

My work revolves around body positivity, self-love, and inclusiveness. I still have a lot to learn about all of those subjects, and this project is one way that I am learning. I am always looking to photograph people of all ages/shapes/genders/ethnicities. Specifically I am trying to move my focus more and more to groups that are underrepresented by the media and deserve time in front of the camera at no charge. Please reach out to me if you feel moved to do so. I would love to photograph you.
